| Comments: | Life has been good for me since graduating high school. I married a wonderful woman, who has given me six (6) beautiful children. My oldest girls are both in College, Lyndsey graduates in May 09 with degree in English. She is going to England for the Summer to take Graduate courses at Cambridge University. Lacey will attend UGA this Fall and pursue Teaching career. Levi is a Junior at North Oconee High school and like his dad enjoys all sports. Luke is avid Soccer player and all around great kid. Landon (unfortunately) is Keith Street made over. He will be on TV one day....either as a professional athlete or on the show Cops....and not in uniform. Lexington is the reason I will not retire until I'm in my mid 70's. I followed my dad into the Transportation business. I'm currently in Global Sales with FedEx. I have the opportunity to travel all over the world and see many places. FedEx moved our familyto Texas in 2000 and we moved back to GA in 2006. I accepted the Lord as my Savior in 1992 and my life truly changed! I've read the majority of the Profiles and what wonderful memories have been rekindled. The Class of 1979 was special for many of us. We, as a class, achieved much more than many of our peers in other graduating classes. Our Class was truly blessed! I look forward to seeing many of you in July! |
| School Story: | The stories I have in the memory vault cannot be told in order to protect the innocent.....well, none of us were innocent! The "Crew"...Ben T, Kebo, Hangar, Tom Bradley, George Galloway, Johnny O aka Tarzan & Stitcher....Only the Lord allowed us to survive the things we did...... I see someone downloaded the State Baseball Championship of 1979!! If I'm not mistaken, no one has ever achieved that since!!! That was my greatest memory....greater than UGA, being drafted by the Padres & Braves and playing professional baseball in Korea...... Many still talk about that team...often imitated, never duplicated!! That is the Class of 1979! |
